How to read class time table

Example 1

For example, look at this time table:

example-class-schedule.png

  • the course Natural language processing with deep learning will be held during class (节次) 7 to 8 (in blue). That's 4.10PM - 6PM during winter period, and 4.40PM - 6.30PM during summer period.
  • the course The Outline of China will be held huring class 9 to 8 (red). That's 7.10PM to 9.00PM during winter, and 7.40PM to 9.30PM during summer.

Don't confuse this with the week number 周次 (yellow underline). That will tell you the date which each course are scheduled. See school-calendar.

Example 2

Look at this example:

第1-15周;连续周 星期二-上午3,上午4,下午7,下午8 教室:5-1W105

The first bit 第1-15周 shows week number. You can look the week number up in the school-calendar.

星期 means day (of week). In this case the second day (二)means Tuesday.

星期... Day of week
星期一 Monday
星期二 Tuesday
星期三 Wednesday
星期四 Thursday
星期五 Friday
星期六 Saturday
星期日 Sunday

Next, 上午 means the morning, and 下午 means the afternoon. The numbers after 上午 and 下午 are class period. Look at the table at the top to translate this into the actual time of day.

教室:5-1W105 is the classroom
